Accessibility

We want this site to work for everyone, and the studios themselves to be places anyone can book without having to ask awkward questions first.

This website

It is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In practice that means:

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is never hidden.
• Text meets a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background.
• Animation is disabled automatically if your device is set to reduce motion, and nothing moves or auto-plays on its own.
• Pinch-to-zoom is never blocked, and the layout reflows down to 320px wide.
• Images carry descriptions, and form fields have visible labels, not just placeholders.

In the studio

Mya Nails Studio is listed as wheelchair accessible, with parking available at the door and public transit nearby. If you need to know something specific before you come in — the width of the entrance, the washroom, or whether a station can be adjusted — please call and ask. We would rather answer honestly than have you arrive and find out.

If you have access needs, call us before you book and we will set aside the right station and allow the time it takes. That is not a special request; it is how we would rather do it.

Fragrance and ventilation

Nail services involve products with a smell, and acrylic in particular. If you are sensitive to it, call ahead and we will suggest a quieter time of day and seat you as far from the acrylic station as the room allows. Gel and Gel-X have far less odour than acrylic if you would rather avoid it altogether.
